Sharing to all great mothers out there an emotional morning love letter from my daughter, MM. MM gets misunderstood at times because of how she gets emotional and I guess that's IQ and EQ. And when you gave her advices and life's teachings because she got influenced by powerful and financially gifted friends, this is what she did this morning. Yes, we do have misunderstandings as mother and child, but I am there to correct them as soonest. The recipe of parenting is hard to achieve. And discipline is about love and patience. Never have I put my hands on or any object that will hurt her physically but I only do conversations. #ParentingTips #SingleMomRocks #SingleParent #MMMoments

Family Day is Fun Day

August is the scheduled month for the Family Day Event in my little preschooler school. All of the student's parents and teacher were busy as a bee and as hardworking as an ant. We have tons of plans to think and to make it happen on the day itself.

The task is hard and very tiring but if you do it for love, you'll never get tired easily as long as you see the outcome of it. Parents and Teachers meet up for the plan and voted the class officers which makes me as one of the officer. We plan for the simple event with balloons, tarpaulin, shirt, loot bags and of course the food.

After the officers had been through with the plan, we take action on what we have agreed, to have contributions, sponsorship and solicitations.

Then, we have our preparation period, where fellow officers and parent volunteers helped out.

THE PREPARATION

Mommies busy in dividing the candies, chocolates and other goodies for the loot bag

Home Moderator thanks Trolli Fan Club

Happy moms dividing goodies from Trolli Fan Club.

Our very own child care moderator does her helping hand too

THE EVENT
This years Family Day Event Theme is: "The Earth is our Common Home, Let us care for it."

Here's my little preschooler with her fellow classmates posing for the camera. They are early birds I guess.

A mass was held before the proper program. It then followed by a welcome address, message and inspirational talk to some chosen parents class officers and teachers. Followed by "Hataw" where parents had their time showing off their dance moves.

While outside, booths were also placed. This includes Photo Booth and Face Painting Booth.

And guess where my preschooler's favorite?

Oh yes! Face Painting as usual. =)

There is also a Mascot Show, where these kids were just so excited to see them, though not all because some of them got scared.

Game for Families is one of the highlighted program in the event, as these families were cooperating and simply they are having fun.

The last and the most exciting part of the program is the Magic Show. My preschooler MM, was so happy and amazed by the Magic Show since it is her first time to see it.

Celebrating Family Day is the first event that my little preschooler had experienced. It was such a wonderful time for her to see her fellow classmates families too. It was such a great bonding moment with the family.

From the bottom of our hearts, we the Parent-Teacher Conference thanked Trolli Fan Club for the goodies you've sent, to the volunteered parents who never failed to lend a helping hand, until our next event everyone!

Superior Protection from Ceelin Plus

Climate Change had been a devastating effect in our country. We have suffered environmental and human consequences. As this climate change can be a driver of such diseases, as well as worsen the health effects resulting from the release of air pollutants in populations specifically to our kids. Because of this, we have to prioritize immunity to prevent illness particularly to our most vulnerable children.

We have to provide a healthy food/diet, milk, biscuits and other fortified food for our kids to protect them from these diseases but these foods are not enough.

Kids need more of health protection, now that changing season is here. Changing times call for superior protection from Ceelin Plus. It has Vitamin C PLUS Zinc for Proteksyong Plus. With Ceelin Plus there’s another layer of protection (Plus) is the shield which represents Zinc.

Vitamin C may also reduce the length and severity of a certain cold and Zinc is needed for the formation and maintenance of the skin. Vitamin C and Zinc can be found in Ceelin Plus. It can actually reduce severity and shorten bout of sickness. Imagine what it can do if it’s used every day – it can really protect the child from getting sick.

Furthermore, Ceelin Plus has an advantage over other Vitamin C and Zinc products. It has ZincPlus technology which ensures the correct levels of Vitamin C and Zinc; so, the child is assured of superior protection. Ceelin Plus is proudly made from Unilab.

Ang batang naka-Ceelin Plus, may Proteksyong Plus!

Drawer Slides for your Kitchen Cabinet

A family friend of mine had been renovating her kitchen that she had been having problems in her drawers and cabinets. Good thing I was browsing the net and discovered full extension drawer slides at ovis. It can be used for a variety of applications from kitchen cabinets, dresser drawers, and to industrial appliances too. They have been for commercial use or home; the right type of drawer slide can make a big difference. OVIS has a great selection to find the perfect drawer slide for your application.

I recommend to her as when buying drawer slides, the necessary weight capacity, siince it is an important factor to consider first.  Now, she never worries about adding some cabinets to her child’s room for the fact that ovis is there and she can easily contact them with regards to the product for it has a wide array of selection.

A musically inclined individual is much of thinking where to purchase such affordable electric guitars that suits his need that does not require lots of pain in the wallet. I have been recommending this from my friends and indeed such worthy enough, http://www.guitarcenter.com/Stratocaster-Fender-g26816t0.gc .

All I need is a Selfie Monopod

Taking photos had been the most spent hobby for the new generation of today. The purpose for some is documentation of memories and others simply love photography. While others, loves self-portrait photography or the so called a SELFIE. Selfie is a term for a self-portrait photograph, typically taken with a digital camera or camera phone held in the hand or supported by a selfie stick. Selfies are often shared on social networking services such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. (via Wikipedia)

But how do we enjoy the taking of selfie photos that we want to achieve. Way back before, I simply used my bare hands in taking photos which is hard for the reason that I always failed in getting the right angle of a perfect selfie.

Selfie Stick or Monopod had been the most controversial gadget and it has been trending worldwide. You may find tons of people with their selfie stick which answers my so called a little dilemma of having the perfect selfie.

Stumbling upon this selfie stick and I have been eyeing this since then.

If you are to ask me why I am into this Selfie Monopod unlike others? Well, as you can see I love the color “Plum” that would be top on my list. To follow is the design itself. This selfie monopod for selfprotrait, is easy to use and it fit for most mobile phone of 3.5 mm jack earphone.(  I got Sony Xperia ZR, so this would be awesome!) Since I love outdoors this would be great as my ideal companion for outdoor photography too. If you are an iPhone user you may check on More iPhone Selfie Monopod

The Lightweight metallic construction is a plus also since we have to carry the stick always and it would not be a hassle too for it is foldable, it’s mini size so it is easy to take along. You can even adjust the angle of your phone with it, whether horizontal or vertical for easy use. And of course the 6 extendable sections which I needed the most when taking selfies.  The compatibility of the selfie stick is universal so need to worry about your phone model., Now how about that? And I guess I found the answer to my little predicament, all I need is a Selfie Monopod.

Merck and Fertility Specialists cooperate to Commemorate Fertility Awareness Month

• August appointed as Fertility Awareness Month by Merck
• On-the-ground and Online education initiatives for patients underway

Manila, Philippines, August 5, 2015 – Merck, together with the Philippine Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (PSREI) today announced a series of awareness-building initiatives to foster greater understanding of infertility among Filipinos. The information campaign was embarked upon to commemorate Fertility Awareness Month in August, which recognizes the growing population of Filipino couples who are finding it difficult to conceive.

(L-R) IVF specialist Dr. Anthony Marc Ancheta with his successful patients, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Miranda, and PSREI President Dr. Rudie Frederick Mendiola

“With the observance of Fertility Awareness Month, Merck, together with PSREI aim to help childless Filipino couples to learn more about their condition and to realize that there are solutions to the challenge that they face,” said Dr. Gio Barangan, Medical Director, Merck Philippines. “It is also an opportunity for them to meet couples who were successful in their fertility treatment, so that they can gain confidence in the country’s pool of fertility experts and treatment facilities and thereby remain hopeful in starting a family.”

Philippine Society of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (PSREI) President Dr. Rudie Frederick Mendiola

Part of the efforts being undertaken to raise awareness on fertility issues are to provide free seminars to patients that will help increase their understanding of the symptoms and causes of infertility. Conducted by local fertility experts from the PSREI, the seminars will also give patients hope by educating on methods to improve fertility as well as options for treatment.

Raising awareness on fertility is also being done through online means, via the campaign’s website http://fertilityphilippines.com.ph/. The website will be generating new and useful content throughout Fertility Awareness Month and engage directly with couples, particularly for special events such as free seminars and consultation.

IVF specialist Dr. Anthony Marc Ancheta

Results from a 2011 Merck-commissioned study by Synovate estimates that 1 in 10 Filipinos are infertile, yet a vast majority of them will struggle in silence, due in part to the shame associated with the infertility, but mainly because many couples do not understand the condition.

The awareness efforts are expected to create an impact on couples’ attitude towards infertility, such that they overcome embarrassment and see the urgency of seeking medical assistance. It is imperative that misconceptions are corrected and that any immediate treatment procedures may be done at the soonest -- particularly for older couples.

Experiencing Manresa Farm

My little preschooler recently had its First Field Trip Experience last July 29, 2015. This is in line for their Christian Living Education Subject.

MM with her classmates Angela, Barbara, Chloe, Kate and Rian shows up their happy and excited faces.

MM got curious with the ducks that she had no time giving a smile to the camera.

MM is giggling as she sees the rabbits drinking water. She finds them cute and cuddly, I mean they are really cute and cuddly right?

The "not-so happy face", MM doesn't want this kind of farm animal, we called this locally as "Miloh".

MM and Kate entering the Wildlife Area, where monkeys, snake and other wild life animal is in their respective cages. No photos of MM in the snake cage, you know why.

As MM keeps asking me about tractor and other heavy equipment's, she had her chance getting a ride a tractor, moment is priceless.

When you are in a farm, you got to ride on a horse right? this is what my MM does, Thank GOD she is brave enough to conquer her fear or may I say my fear lol. By the way, riding at her back his is her classmate, Angela.

Video Documenting her First Horse Ride here:

After the horse ride, MM jumps off her way to this brown pony, MM loves pony. She is such a fan of my little pony though.

So far, the Manresa Farm Experience of my preschooler had been tiring, for parents and guardian I guess. But the happiness and learning experience of my preschooler marks a memory that she could never forget. How about you? Have you visited a farm lately? Did you and your kids enjoyed it? Care to Share? Feel free to comment below your experience and let's share.
